Forgoodsake.org is Live!

Today, we are excited to launch the For Goodness Sake e-commerce site – bringing the company’s mobile pop up gallery to life online. Through this channel, we hope to motivate individuals to seamlessly give back and to broaden community awareness.

Inspired by my grandmother’s favorite saying, “For goodness sake, do something,” For Goodness Sake was born from my conviction to help others, broaden my mission to give back and raise the public’s attention on service.  I was taught that each of us has an obligation to make the world a better place, and my vision is fueled by a genuine passion to help others.  We are able to measure success by each life that is touched through positive change.

I am a strong believer in seizing life’s opportunities, as my friends and colleagues know, and I have been very fortunate to sit next to my husband, Larry Baer, through many baseball games and even three World Series Championships with the San Francisco Giants!  In my home city of San Francisco and across the country, I have had the unique opportunity to be exposed to a number of inspiring charities and access to many people who want to contribute and give back.  These experiences have a powerful impact on who I am, and I am grateful that they fall in line with two of my great passions – giving back and connecting people with philanthropies with purpose.

The immediate goal at For Goodness Sake is to partner with San Francisco organizations and initiatives that support the underserved in the health, environmental and educational sectors.  Our inaugural launch partners include San Francisco General Hospital Foundation and Glide, with additional inaugural partners to be announced in the coming weeks.

Looking ahead, our vision is to expand nationally and support global philanthropies with purpose.  For each cause partner, we will donate a minimum of 25% of net proceeds.

Our discerning curated collection features an assortment of private label and collaborative custom-made products for women, men and home décor.  As part of our mission, we are thrilled to be able to help elevate the work of up-and-coming artists here in San Francisco as well as across the country.  For Goodness Sake provides the creative community an opportunity to partner with great philanthropies, while we simultaneously connect brands, consumers and non-profits to influence the greater good of all.

Spreading our mission as we empower individuals to take action and become change makers is the foundation of our brand.  We all have goodness in our hearts, and together, we can build a socially minded community.

Thank you for your support.  Live Big.  Love Hard.  Give Back.

Fondly,

Pam Baer

  1. Hi Pamela,

    Thanks for giving back.

I too want to give back by starting Project Gratitude, a foundation to create jobs for Veterans in the USA.
